How Lyricizm protects your writing

When you publish (or save) a verse, Lyricizm automatically:

  1. Records a UTC timestamp at creation.
  2. Computes a SHA-256 hash of content + author + timestamp.
  3. Attaches a human-readable copyright notice to the public page.

This creates a platform-backed creation record that helps establish priority in time. It is not a substitute for registering your copyright with your national copyright office (e.g. U.S. Copyright Office), which is still recommended for full legal remedies.

Feedback

Peers leave constructive notes and optional 1–5 ratings. Averages appear on your pieces and on the homepage “hottest feedback” strip.

Marketplace & contracts

Mark work for sale, lease, or writing-credit collaboration. Buyers propose terms; sellers negotiate, accept, or reject. The platform stores the thread and outcomes — use it as a negotiation log, then formalize with a lawyer when money or exclusive rights are involved.

Showcase & search

Published work appears on the homepage feed, category explore pages, full-text search, and your public profile.
